Jesus Christ, Our Great Deliverer




Easter is a wonderous and joyous time. Self-reflection can help us become closer to Jesus Christ. I hope you will take the time to become recommitted to Him who loves unconditionally, forgives freely, and blesses abundantly. Happy Easter

Take the challenge:
I challenge you to examine your life and ask the question, “What worldly rocks am I currently carrying that are holding me captive and are keeping me from spiritually progressing?” Recognizing these rocks is so critical in letting go of them! Picking up the rocks is one thing, but holding on to them is what really sinks us. Recognizing and then removing those rocks from your life will allow the Holy Spirit to fill you and help you ascend to the Son—spelled S-O-N—where He is waiting to deliver you and where you can feel of His warmth, His light, and His peace again.

Finish the Course, Keep the Faith

 Speech: Finish the Course, Keep the Faith by Lawrence Corbridge, BYU Idaho, Feb 2022

My Thoughts: I am trying to recapture my old personality. I have learned much with this new stroke personality. I hope I have learned enough to be more understanding and accepting of others. I am going to finish the course and keep the faith. Rick and I have turned in papers to become missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With a leave date of October 1st. We will not know our place of service or any other details until May. 

Ponder this:
  • The essential problem in life is separation from God our Father.
    • Without God, chaos, darkness, and death prevail.
  • Jesus Christ bridges the gap if we will believe and follow Him to the end and help others do the same.
    • He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
  • Therefore, cross the bridge and close the gap. Believe and follow Christ to the end and help others do the same.
